How do you guys cope with high ping?

Pretty curious because I used to play on very slow internet before and it never really bothered me. The max ms I got was around 1400 on 2moons or dekaron and when somebody invited me to duel I didn't know what was happening. Then again I didn't really group up with people.
Does it bother you a lot? Does it cause you to quit the game you could've enjoyed?
