Maybe they should do open scoring excluding the final round then.

A real flaw (or perhaps benefit) would be seeing some of these awful judging decisions in real time.

But I also agree with the mentality that if you choose to coast in rounds, you have no one to blame but yourself. I've seen plenty of fights where we hear the corner talk about how their fighter is ahead and then they end up losing the fight.
