So, I've held a MLS Live account for the last few years, primarily because I don't have cable and live in Colorado Rapids territory but am a Sounders Supporter. Last night, I sit down to watch the game, only to get a blackout notice. As MLS becomes more popular, and more games are televised on cable sports networks, more games are blacked out. My options are fire up my VPN on my laptop and route through Canada, which sucks because I prefer to watch on the TV set connected to our Apple TV, or wait for the replay. And replays, well, suck: I know the outcome already. Anyone else thinking their MLS Live subscription is becoming less and less valuable? I may also not be the only one willing to pay a bit more for a premium, no blackout rule enabled, service. Because, damn it, that's what I want. If I get cable, I pay for 200 channels I will never watch just to watch MLS on a handful of channels a week.
