What exactly does Alibaba's "AI Copywriter" do?

Alibaba claims to have created an "AI Copywriter" that presents the "best" copy from a high volume of automatically generated copy to a user in order to speed up the copywriting process. Can anyone point me in the direction of what this process is actually doing? How much of this is NLP, if any?

I want to replicate this process for writing quiz questions, for context, so I want to be able to understand what's going here in a bit more detail so I can either figure out how to do it myself or contract someone to do some of the work.
