so, I'm a straight guy, and i think i might have had the biggest -woosh- moment of recent memory.

Short preface, I was out drinking with an old friend who came back from residing out of town and his sister and her friend. The location was a piano bar, so 80s power ballads and disney songs are the norm, audience participation is encouraged... often by force!

So the over the head -woosh- moment happened while the girls were away, some dudebro sat down in one of the girl's seats and started trying to make "conversation"(?) while being far too drunk to realize the room volume didn't facilitate talking. At some point he offered to buy me another of what i was drinking. I looked at him odd, and shortly after his buddy dragged him away.

I read the situation as an odd drunk guy attempting to be friendly and failing at the subtleties. My friend that was across the table, he read it as I was being hard core hit on. That reading flew over my head. Just -woosh- and i'm still a bit dumbfounded for not seeing that angle.
