Let me back up a moment.
I like a certain kind of cityscape. It usually features some kind of crappy filter just to add to it's allure. I can't find a picture that would fit the criteria and I've been looking. (There is a picture that sorta fits at a thrift shop next to me that I've been debating on getting).
Anyways, this sort of cityscape generally gets me to stop whatever I'm doing and wonder what sort of person lives there. What are their stories, what's life like there?
And I get nostalgic for a place I've never been.
So, that's kind of like the game I'd like to play. Sort of meet people and mesh in a small town (up in a hill somewhere, in the midst of a forest. Gotta be suuuuper stereotypical here.) Sort of go along with their mundane lives.
There's no ending to be had. There's no super secret plot to unfold.
The focus would be on the people.
I'll probably go into more detail with a game I'd like to see made akin to this, but first I must ask.
Is there a game out there that's remotely like that?
If not, seems like I'll have to flesh out the idea more.
