How does matchmaking for online play work? Is the system the same for Ranked Season/Events/BR? Do the players in my lineup effect matchmaking?
I'm a first year DD player and I spent most of my time in offline modes. Love the game. I decided to try online and it is a terrible experience. Actually, I cant even enjoy offline now and I'm considering quitting for the year even though I've built a 94 team. I thought having a great lineup would make transitioning to online palatable.
Does every single person have Trout? I'm not being sarcastic... Is it common knlwledge to buy him early in the year when he is "cheaper"?
How can I lose 15 matches in a row and see no adjustment in quality of opponent or lineup? This literally isnt worth my time if I can never win to reach rewards.
I pitch on meter. How big of a disadvantage am I at? I really struggle with pinpoint and find it aggrivating. Does that mean I just shoudn't play online? If so that's depressing. Opponents seem to hit HRs off me at will. I have to quit some games because I cant even get out of the inning. Balls out of the zone, pitches sequenced, deep counts, none of it matters.
I have always been abouve average at video games. Not to the point I would brag, but being so bad at this in comparison to literally everyone else is inconcievable to me. For all the "Git Good" comments.... I get it. Figured I would ask my questions anyway to evaluate if this is a game I want to keep playing. If that is the overwhelming response then I'll be off in peace.
