I’ve always wondered if this is just me:

Ever seen Franchise Mode became a thing in sports games, I constantly start over and rebuild with new team every time I play. For me, the fun is taking a bad team (I’m a Tigers fan, so I’ve had plenty of source material) and making deals to make them stable and build them up. Here’s the weird part (or maybe not), as soon as they win I start fresh all over. If I work on a franchise for a week, it’s a LONG time.

I’m 40 and have always wondered if this is just me.
