I've had a ton of fun building my team. The problem I've got is that I can't play online against anyone. I get absolutely bamboozled every time I try! It's just not fun trying to play 9 inning games against people when I'm already losing by 8 in the 3rd inning. I don't even bother playing ranked anymore.

I know event is against other people, and I'll snatch a win maybe one out of every 10 attempts. But, it's at least better than ranked. My hang up about event mode, is that you're limited to which players you can use. I usually end up only using a handful of players that I built my team with, the rest are ones that typically do nothing but harm my chances of even coming close to winning. I absolutely love that it's only 3 innings.

Are there any other modes that are 3 innings against other people? Or, are we stuck having to play a full 9 inning game each time. I don't know how people have the time to do it. With kids and a job, I just don't have 2 hours free where I can get a couple of games in.

Alas, I'm stuck with playing conquest every time. It's 3 innings, I get to use a dream team, and I can actually win a lot (most of the time). I'm guessing when you play online it matches you with someone with a similar OVR? I've got mostly 99 or 98's on my team. But, I'll get matched up with someone that's ranked in the top 20 and their record is something crazy like 37-3. I'm 3-7. I might as well not even bother wasting this guy's time.

Any tips on playing online against others where I actually will have a shot at winning? Is there a way to speed up a 9 inning game? I know sometimes event will have a random count generator, which definitely helps a game go by faster.
