I haven’t picked up an MLB title in about 4 years just cause I’m kinda casual with baseball. Fan of the game but I don’t watch every game and I overall am a casual gamer anyways.

I typically would just buy the game and make a RTTS player and make him a HOF type guy, typically a starting pitcher that would just pitch gas and strike everyone out. Pitch well get a lot of points upgrade your player, you know how a normal career mode works.

I literally had no idea how to upgrade my player I had to watch videos and I’m still lost so I have to play diamond dynasty to play RTTS? Why do I have to use perks in a sports game it just feels cheap and fake. So since I don’t have any perks and gameplay is one way to upgrade my guy I’m playing my minors season on rookie so I can just upgrade my guy but all my pitches suck cause I’m new but I can’t fcking upgrade them but I’m on rookie so I’m getting like 14 strikeouts a game with an 87 mph fastball and a slider that doesn’t slide.

On top of all that I was ready to call RTTS quits cause I just wanted to pitch lights out so I was like alright I’ll do a franchise mode and just pitch with Sale (I’m a Sox fan) and be a cy young winner...you can’t even fcking change the amount of games in a season it HAS to be 162 games so obviously I’m simming like half the season figured okay normally they have franchise and season mode, nope no season mode alright lemme play road to October...well that’s a shortened season but you only play critical moments so I can’t control what part of the game I want to play.

Overall the features of the game is trash and I’m pretty disappointed, kinda bought a sports game just so I can chillout and just play here and there but I can’t even do that which sucks cause the actual gameplay of the game is actually pretty good when you compare it to madden, fifa, ect...
