So I’ve been buying and playing mlb since 2004. I’ve always been a franchise guy, sometimes road to the show. I have very little interest in online.

This year I don’t have a ps5 and I wasn’t gonna buy the game again. There’s really nothing new for me (like the last few years), but screw it, I love baseball I bought it. Literally can’t even start a franchise now with non launch rosters lol due to the ducking server issues.

I’ve always resented the online aspect of this game because it completely shafted us offline players (franchise, rtts, og modes) who have been dedicated for nearly 2 decades. We get almost nothing new every year and all the focus is on online modes.

Now it’s not only affecting my ability to play a shitty upgrade of last years game but it’s making me not want to continue. There is nothing for me online, but due to the emphasis of online play, even my offline modes rely on the servers being up.

I think I’m done with mlb the show. They don’t care about me or any other non online players, they are milking the same game every year by adding minor features and calling them selling points.

This is just unacceptable and I hope others realize it. I will be filing for a refund as I have a job and if the servers go down at 6 every night I won’t ever be able to play.

SDS need to pass the torch to someone who cares. They clearly don’t anymore. I paid $69 for half of the game because I don’t have a $700 system that is impossible to find and what they offer me doesn’t work.
