I was playing Co-op with my friend last night and I came up against the 99 Babe Ruth for the first time and I was actually crying at how good he was. Man was pumping 99 on me with his fastball and I was almost in tears trying to get a hit off this guy. I know hes the “goat” or whatever but no way he was throwing that hard ever. I get they need to make him better than he really was to be considered a 99 in game, but like, cmon man. I looked up what he threw back in the day and the best guess was between 90-95. Why not just give him a 95 mph fastball and call it a day. Just doesnt make sense in the most “realistic” baseball video game to not stay true to real life statistics of people.
