Engine Transplant & Conversion kits

Hello all,
I am planning on purchasing a Rabbit or Rabbit Pickup MK1 and my idea is to transplant an engine. I am no fabricator and was hoping to find conversion kits for various option. My main idea is to install a Golf MK2 GTI 16V or G40 engine in to the MK1 or another one would be an early VR6. Is anyone aware of conversion kits for those options?
