I am happy to announce a new subreddit aimed at the transgender community in Michigan!

It is a sad fact of life for many transgender people that they live lives of isolation. From society in general and, sometimes, from others in the transgender community.

Recognizing that is an issue for so many, I have established this subreddit as a place to connect with others in "our" community.

This is a safe haven to introduce yourself, to seek friendships with others, to announce gatherings or talks.

This is NOT a hookup site. There are plenty of those elsewhere and any posts that overtly lewd, contain photos of sexual genitalia or acts, or solicit for pay-to-play sites, will be deleted and could lead to banning. So too, any hate talk--no matter the target--will also face deletion and banning.

Ostensibly, this is aimed at the transgender community here in Michigan, nearby states and our friends in Canada.
