Help MINI Cooper S 2008 HPFP
Post Body

Hey guys i have a big problem with my MINI. I bought it second hand a while ago it was in very good condition and i did have it checked by a mechanik. A month later id had the typical symtoms of a false hpfp so rugh iddle, not tacking on gas ect. So me and the mechanik first checked with the official mini garage and they said faulty hpfp so we changed it. no succses so we searched further and changed the normal fp and filter. no change. We did so becuse the car starts kinda rough and if you let it warm up for a wihle it runs "normal " so we thought loss of fuel preassure. id did nothing so we thought maybe faulty preassure sensor or tempsensor but also no change. So we bought an multimeter with osiloskop and we saw very wrong signals to the hpfp.

Normal means when i let the car warm up for maybe 5-10mins and then restart it a few times he gets the desired preasure and keeps it. so i can drive it it takes gas but not allways and not very well like it has no power. i dont get the half engine check light but after driving for some time it can happen that he looses preassure again and goes into the emergency program on the autobahn so i can only drive 60km/h witch is very bad sooo yeah "normal"

So the question now is what to do. Do i have to change the whole ECU for it to run or the little one beneath it. Did anyonne have the same problem as me? Or any other Suggestion?
