RABAT - In light of recent developments in Algeria, the Parliament of Morocco has voted to call up 50,000 reservists to the nation's Armed Forces. This leaves Morocco with 245,000 active personnel. In agreement with Tunisia, 150,000 of these troops will be placed along the border with Algeria pending negotiations with the Nile Republic. These troops are armed with at least 500 tanks and 50 MLRSs.

Tunisia and Morocco also request urgent talks with the Nile Republic and have the backing of the Arab League to do this, in order to maintain peace and stability in Algeria. The Nile Republic has not responded to the Moroccan government yet.
