With tensions as high as they have been in Holyrood in the last week, it is little surprise that /u/NicolasBroaddus chose to hold a rally just outside to speak in support of fellow SNP member /u/Wiredcookie1. Anger is clearly still bubbling over the unilateral decision of Scottish Labour to collapse the government there. Flags and banners with SNP and Solidarity logos are waved for the attention of cameras and passerby. Taking a position alongside /u/Wirecookie1 at the top of the stairs, /u/NicolasBroaddus begins speaking through a megaphone.
"Glad to see at least one crowd of people who know how to get things done! I wonder why I even tried to come back to Holyrood if I'm going to be dealing with a bunch of supposed socialists in the Scottish Labour party who would collapse government at the first sign of a truly radical and socialist agenda!"
"Don't worry, I'm not giving up, far from it. I'm making my way through every town in Scotland to tell them the truth of things, and come election time, you will all have the ability to show Scottish Labour what you think of their actions. Perhaps if they see you all voting for Solidarity in the droves, they will realise their mistake and be willing to actually come to the table with me for the first time. And if they do not, then I will push our agenda regardless, and so will /u/Wiredcookie1, who has done right by Scotland through his whole career. This is your chance Edinburgh, show them what Solidarity looks like!"
The two SNP/Solidarity candidates spend time with party member volunteers speaking to attendants and answering questions, before parting ways after an hour to continue their whistle-stop tours of the UK.
