In Mexborough, Muffin Kicks off their campaign with a community fun day to celebrate the town and their people, as organised by their 2-term MP, with bouncy castles for the kids and a coconut shy also. The grand finale of the evening is a speech from Muffin which has the whole crowd eagerly listening to hear from the glorious Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.

I have to admit, campaigning season always comes round quicker than you remember, but this election is one I am truly excited for, as I stand on a manifesto that represents a true promise to people all across Britain, and as your committed MP for the last two terms and hopefully for the third term running, I will ensure that South Yorkshire continue to thrive under Labour. Following the chaos of the Coinflip Government, this country needed a steady hand to right the ship on course again, as we delivered sensible governance and economics for Britain, led by Labour. It was Labour who delivered a proper plan for prosperity. I have been proud to have once again served in cabinet this term, and continuing to serve as Labout Deputy Leader, now under a new Leader in model-raymondo who has shown all the qualities that a Prime Minister needs, and who has put a guiding hand on the UK as we weathered the storm of living cost increases caused by an illegal war in Ukraine.

For the past two months, we have seen just a glimpse of what a Labour led Government can do, as we stand committed to delivery that works for all people and is responsibly costed to not leave this country worse off.

However, don't just trust our track record for delivery when you go to the polls this week, trust in our manifesto which is responsibly planned and will deliver an uptick in quality of living across the country, ensuring more money in your pocket than any other party as we reform the current system of Basic Income, into a truly universal system that insures nobody can fall through the gaps of unjust means testing. We will ensure that no child goes hungry through the largest expansion of free school meals, for both breakfast and lunch programmes, reversing the food poverty faced by many kids going to school at present. Speaking of education, we will be legislating the most progressive schooling reforms in British history, as we reverse years of elitism that has created a two tier system between private fee-paying schools and state funded schools by abolishing fee paying schools to ensure that every child born in the UK has a chance to succeed, not just those born to wealthy parents. A Labour Government is one committed to equity and equality by a true programme of levelling up as we invest in areas and systems that need it, whilst ensuring fair taxation exists that leaves you with your hard earned money.

In terms of business, a Labour Government will be reforming workplace practices that have furthered the rights of elites and the wealthy at the detriment of working people for too long, as we introduce laws to truly democratise the workplace, ensuing union representation in the boardroom and a guaranteed right for workers to buyout failing businesses that would otherwise lead to mass job losses. Whilst Solidarity promise a ideologically based revolution, Labour promises a solid and robust plan that will create jobs and prosperity for working people across Britain, ensuring your voice is heard in all walks of life.

It was a Labour Government under Clement Atlee that created our cradle to grave system to ensure nobody in this United Kingdom struggled, and it will be a Labour Government under model-raymondo that will deliver the greatest reforms to this system to modernise it to the issues that face people in the twenty first century.
