Thank you all for coming out today. I stand before you as the Conservative Party's candidate for the Cumbria and Lancashire North electorate, in the Forest of Bowland AONB.

I am here today to talk to you about the benefits of the implementation of the Party's plan to implement new and exciting business tax deductions on firm profits exclusively on the sale/provision of renewable energy products (ie. electric cars and infrastructure) by giving them a break in the VAT charged on these products if they become a part of a measure proven to reduce emissions and for the election of the Conservative Party to Government, over the current, Labour Government.

The need for action on climate change has never been more urgent and the Conservative Party is committed to doing our part to ensure a sustainable future for the UK.

As part of our plan to tackle climate change, we are committed to incentivising businesses to invest in renewable energy solutions.

Our plan to offer tax breaks on profits from the sale of renewable energy products will make it more attractive for businesses to invest in these technologies and help to create a market for them in the UK.

This will not only help to reduce our emissions, but will also create jobs and growth in the renewable energy sector. The Conservative Party is the only party who has a plan to tackle climate change and deliver a brighter future for the UK. I urge you to consider voting for us in the upcoming election so that we can make our country a leader in the fight against climate change.
