"Hello everyone! My name is Chi0121 and I am coming to you to garner your vote for me in the upcoming election. The Scottish Conservatives and I have a great platform to show you and I cannot wait to get started on the campaign trial to show you all exactly what benefits voting for me will bring. But before I show you what's in store for the future, as I saw the Liberal Democrat candidate do, let me take you through some of our achievements last term.

We pledged £5.8 billion into new infrastructure spending across Scotland which will go unparalleled lengths into upgrading roads and railways and result in a host of jobs, for the experienced and in-experienced. This cash injection into our infrastructure will turbo charge the Scottish economy and ensure that we can spend responsibly while balancing our fiscal responsibilities, something the other parties would struggle to do. You can see the impact of those funds already going to work nearby - we have increased connections between the borders and the capital by expanding the Edinburgh Waverly to Tweedwick line to Hawick and the Pothole Fighting Fund creating safer, smoother roads for all of us.

We gave Police Officers a 5% pay rise. These are the people on the frontlines everyday, tackling crime no matter it's severity and often go unappreciated. Under the Scottish Conservatives we ensured that not only was their work recognised but appreciation shown for the often critical work they do in keeping all of us in Scotland safe. This pay rise enshrines our commitment to providing quality public services and ensuring all public sector workers are supported and cared for, no matter the circumstances.

We are ensuring local beauty spots and historic towns like the one I have the privilege of being in today are protected and preserved from those who have no care or regard for their surroundings. We have increased penalties for those who do not clean up their dog mess and increased fines for those who litter as well as giving more funds to local authorities for anti-litter campaigns. These measures will ensure that our beautiful natural areas and bustling towns across Southern Marches will be safe from acts of pettiness and laziness which impacts all who reside in these great areas.

I have outlined three great achievements the Scottish Conservatives made in government which are directly affecting life here in Dumfries and the Southern Marches but I'm really only scratching the surface of what we did - I didn't even mention the £5.5 Billion for our Green Strategy! For another term of Scottish Conservatives, pushing forward Scotland's agenda to be a cleaner, more prosperous nation, vote for me, vote Scottish Conservative!
