DB walks through a large crowd on a very chilly day, shaking hands as he walks along to the front and picks up his mic
Afternoon everyone! The elections are now underway and I am running to represent the people of Clyde Valley for the Scottish Conservatives.Â
Our record speaks for itself and that we are committed to deliver on pledges and ensure that Scotland stays strong. Notably, the lifting of the alcohol ban at football matches which now allows fans to be able to consume alcohol at a controlled rate, something that has been long awaited from fans. We have invested £5.5 billion in our fight against climate change, we also increased the age of school leavers to 18 allowing pupils to gain more skills and knowledge for the future to benefit careers. We want to ensure that the schools provide the best standard of education for pupils. We will increase the amount of apprenticeships by 10,000 with the apprenticeship grant which is an incentive for businesses who will receive £1,750 for recruiting apprentices.Â
We have and continue to stand against those who seek to unreasonable devolve powers which are best handled at Westminster, and it is clear that you want a strong union with Scotland in it, whilst Labour and their coalition of chaos seeks to undermine all the hard work, the progress made under the Scottish Conservatives over the last 18 months. They keep on banging on the drums for a referendum but the polls clearly don’t echo those calls. They intend to spend more money when it simply is not feasible to. They simply make promises that they cannot keep! Which is why you should vote for me.
I will fight for all of you in parliament. We need the support of every voter here in Clyde Valley. I urge you all to vote Conservative, to stay in the union, to build upon previous success and for a stronger Scotland.
