Estoban06 was spotted talking to a small crowd of likely voters afront Gloucester's Gloucester Cathedral.
"Good afternoon, to everyone. As I'm sure you've seen, the polls are coming fast, and I'm standing to be your next MP."
Some members of the crowd cheered, others yelled "fuck Tory wankers!"
Estoban06 laughed and said, "if you think the Tories are wankers, wait until you see the other guys. I used to work with the other guys.''
"You see, I used to be the First Secretary of State in an ambitious coalition against the Tories. Of course, my views have since evolved. But simply put, Labour is unfit to lead."
"I felt like Tommy1Boys (may he rest in peace) and I were mainly running the government while the Prime Minister was occupied with other things, I guess. It just felt like there was no overall vision that Labour was trying to enact other than 'no Tory wankers.' And this obviously worked to the detriment of the country."
Estoban06 pulls out a Labour manifesto.
"And it's clear that two leaders after we left government with Labour, that they haven't changed a bit. This manifesto appears to be cobbled together from several different, competing ideas of what Britain should be. For example, a small business tax. An extra 200 billion pounds in spending, with budgets reaching 1 trillion pounds of expenditure by 2025. And no real idea of what it's up to. You can see this in Labour candidates who pledge to double the NHS's budget without thinking."
"Meanwhile, the Conservatives have a common-sense, one-nation vision of this country. We've costed our policies, we know how we are going to pay for things, and we are ready to do it all after the election. Can you say the same for Labour?"
I think of Labour as a teenage driver waiting for their license. They always think they're ready until they get on the roads. I saw This first-hand in government with them, and again now that I run against them. Simply put, if you want strong governance, vote Tory, and I say this as someone who once served a Labour government. Thank you!"
