Ladies and gentlemen, I'm very happy to welcome you here tonight.

It's probably quite a surprise to see me here, with my usual residence in Northern Ireland, but I have close links here, thanks to my spiritual parents, /u/bloodycontrary and /u/MatthewHinton12345.

The Conservative Party are the only party that will safeguard our economy, while ensuring we continue to modernise and diversify our economy. Our plans for trade are solid, unlike the Labour Party and their zero tariff policy, which will decimate our indigenous industry. We will achieve sustainable, mutually beneficial deals, with the EU and countries around the world. For me, it is vital that we strive for a global-facing, open economy, and the Conservatives will achieve this.

e at the Conservatives also recognise the huge importance of investing in our children. 600 new schools, 47,000 new teachers, as well as £1.6 billion for SEN provisions, will ensure all young people can go on to achieve the best in life and career. We also commit to a large improvement and increase in childcare provision, which will allow parents to return to work in full confidence that their children will be well cared for.

Furthermore, our massive increase in defence spending will provide us with a unique, powerful position on a global stage. It will reinforce and restore our status as a global power, and ensure we are respected and involved in global diplomatic and security affairs.
