Maroiogog casually strolls on a train of the subway at Ibrox station and starts the loop. He is clearly wearing Labour merch so it isn't long before people approach him
"I have seen from the Tories you are planning Scexit, is that correct?"
"Most definetly not, we have no plans to call any referendums of sorts this term, on the topic of ereferndums we are however committed to delivering on the plebiscite in favour of welfare devolution, which the Tories are conveniently trying to erase"
"Is it true that Labour want to raise my taxes for vanity projects?"
"No, and that has never been the case. Labour knows full well that our constituents make sacrifices each months to get their wages, we don't want to take any more of that than we strictly need to. What we do not condone however is cutting the taxes of the richest whilst at the same time cutting funding to many worthwhile causes like trade unions. Hence we will be undoing the damage of the past Government
"All you'll do with our public services is throw money at the problem!"
"Not quite. Yes, we do advocate for an increase in funding for our public services, but we also advocate for innovative solutions on how such money will be spent. Take our plans for the NHS, the extra money we'll put into the system will go towards ensuring that the staff of our Health Service is not overworked or stressed. These same funds will be used to give more Scottish youngsters the opportunity to access careers in the Heathcare sector. Sure, we are throwing some money at the problem, but it's far from the most important aspect of what we want to do"
"You want more devolution for devolution's sake"
"No, we do not. Welfare devolution was overwhelmingly backed at a free and fair referendum, we therefore think it's our duty to the Scottish Public to implement it. As for our request for devolution of taxation powers, it is what has allowed Scotland to have the lowest rates out of any nation in the UK. The Holyrood has used its powers sensibly and has given Scotland greater prosperity over successive Governments of different political colours. I therefore believe that further taxation powers in its hands will only increase this positive influence."
"aren't you untrustworthy though?"
"In what way? I would much rather trust a Government that respects and wishes to deliver on what the people that gave them its mandate rather than one which seeks to make everyone forget referenda"
Maroiogog waddles away once he gets back to Ibrox.
