Hear ye hear ye,

This election fair and impartial justice in a Scotland is under threat, JGM wants to see an anti meritocratic system where the colour of your skin or your sex determine who judges us.

The Labour party's idea of equality is to select judges based upon who they are not how qualified they are.

Now let me be quite clear, we need a more diverse pull of judges in Scotland. I believe in opportunity and I want every child no matter their race or gender to have an equal chance to achieve and give back to Scotland. Every citizen should both be subject to the law and able if they work hard and are the best qualified to sit in judgement over others.

But how we get there is not enforcing quotas we need to work from the ground up instead of enforcing outcomes that lead to less qualified people sitting as judges!

That reform starts with education, I am proud that my party started that process last term with the Scottish government's reform package to improve the curriculum. Now the Libertarians want to go further and reform the ways our schools are run.

We want to give good head teachers powers over the budget and freedom from council busybodies so they can make the best decisions for their pupils! We want parents to be able to vote with their feet and move to a better school, and we want them to have genuine choice while doing so by encouraging academisation, free schools and grammars.

With these reforms we can ensure that every child will go to a good school and be able to achieve. But there is more we can do.

We need to make legal apprenticeships transparent and accessible and we need to have regard for how the legal profession is portrayed in the media and public life. That elected politicians should lead on by encouraging the private sector to do so, scrutinise legal professions in the select committees and create wider cultural change without heavy handed legislation!

This is what an organically equal specify under the libertarians looks like!

Saldy Labour and JGM want to put the cart before the horse, instead of putting in the hard grind working to create true equality of opportunity they presume that BAME Scots and other minorities cannot get equal representation as judges without lowering the barr.

From a party that doubts that black billionaires exist I say shame! Growing up I found much inspiration from one of America's great justices, Justice Clarence Thomas who in defending civil liberties, personal property in his own quiet style has won him recognition and plaudits.

It is absurd to suggest the BAME Scots cannot archive what so many do and need the standard to be lowered.

To support equal opportunity and true equality I charge you all vote Libertarian this election!
