Hello everyone! Thank you for having me here, the turnout is amazing and it really shows how much the politics means to you all and me, I will get straight to the point and waste no time.The elections are now upon us and I will be running in Clyde Valley for the Scottish Conservative and Unionists and I hope to be representing you in parliament for the next term.

In the past term in government under my honorable friend the longest serving first minister a lot has been achieved and a lot more to come if elected again. I won’t mention all of them but a select few such as the reduction of income tax for hard workings families from 25% to 12% those who work hard to earn their keep should not be taxed so high for the work that they do, it punishes poor people which is why in the most recent budget they have been cut.Another piece that has been introduced is the pupil premium which allows children of all backgrounds to have the same chances when applying and also receive additional funding, this directly links to the free university fees for all citizens of the UK in uni’s in Scotland, with the aim of lifting the financial burden of paying tuition fees which has been a long lasting tradition in Scotland and will be for generations to come.The one billion pounds investments into the green infrastructure fund is a landmark move in the fight against climate change, the government is doing their part and we need to pull our weight in reducing harmful emissions.

The NHS is for everyone and it is the duty to be able to cater for anyone at any time of day, healthcare is the utmost of importance and to tackle the issue of staff shortages the government will work with the GMC to allow Strathclyde and Stirling universities to be able to teach medicine to increase the amount of nurses and doctors which should alleviate any strain in the NHS.Last but not the least you, the people will be granted more centralized powers within regions and be represented by one of your own so that you are able to voice your ideas and concerns, your local MMP will be able to vote on key legislations across the board.

Scotland is better off being in the United Kingdom we all stand together as one with the aim of helping each other and moving forwards together as one, the referendum in 2014 will be honored.
