/u/Youmaton has wrapped up their campaign for Lanarkshire and the Borders at a rally in Dumfries, a large crowd has been drawn to the event which promises a night filled with entertainment and enthusiasm. Several local guest speakers hype up the crowd with a message of local representation and a Labour government that fights for the people, however the crowd truly gets excited once the final guest speaker introduces /u/Youmaton to the stage. They walk onto the stage waving to the crowd, who notice that they have a red nose on, however their excitement can barely be contained as they reach the microphone

“HELLO EVERYONE! It’s so great to see so many of you here tonight, thank you all so much for coming! Now, a certain other candidate for Lanarkshire and the Borders has accused us of being clowns, of not knowing where we are or what we are doing, these accusations are why I come here in a red nose tonight in the lovely city of Dumfries. Even though it may not be Red Nose day, it is still ever important to uphold the cause and fight for its values. A world free from poverty, a world where no one has to go hungry or sleep out in the cold, a world where we all can feel safe without the fear of war destroying our lives, a world that we can be proud to be a part of. I stand before you with a message of hope, a message and a dream that we can create a better world. Under a Labour government and under the leadership of Secretary_Salami, we can deliver this vision of peace and prosperity, we can create a future for all of us!”

The crowd goes wild, and starts shouting Youma’s name

“My pledge to the people of Lanarkshire and the Borders is one that every candidate should make, and that every candidate should uphold. I promise to protect our democracy, to ensure that our institutions and our processes are answerable to the people of the United Kingdom. I promise to protect the right to vote for everyone over 16, we must ensure that the people of this nation get their say and that the franchise is protected against all attacks. I promise to properly represent the people of this great constituency, and ensure that your voice is heard throughout Westminster just as I have in Holyrood. I promise to promote human rights across the world, we must create a fairer world for all people and the first place to do that is the United Kingdom. Together we can achieve this ambition, together we can achieve this dream, together we can send a message to the Tories and the Libertarians that we reject their failures, together we can send Salami into Number 10 and make a change for the good. We can achieve this, because Britain deserves better!”

“So far within Lanarkshire and the Borders we have seen the stark difference between the parties, the sheer contrast on offer for the people of our constituency. We have the undemocratic swill of the government coalition, both the Tories and the Libertarians running ministers in an attempt to silence our voice. The government has sought to damage this nation's reputation by peeling back piece by piece our systems that help the people, they seek to strip away the franchise from those with the democratic right to have a say in our country’s future, they laugh and propose an increase in private prisons when they fully well know the costs and consequences that private prisons have upon the nation. The Greens candidate finally showed up today, however only to put a couple of posters around the place. The Greens have no plan for Lanarkshire and the Borders, they have no plan to properly represent this wonderful community, and whilst I commend them for participating in our democracy, we must remember that we have a first past the post system. We must be unified in our cause and unified in our mission to defeat the tories, sadly a vote for the Greens is a vote for the Tories! We must work together in solidarity to overcome two ministers and a paper candidate who seek to stop our movement, we must work together to send a clear message across the nation that we respect democracy and human rights. Britain deserves better then the tory shambles, and I will deliver for this constituency!”

The crowd goes absolutely wild, and starts chanting Youma’s name, whilst some start chanting “Youmardern”

“This election day, tell your friends and family, tell all you know, send the message loud and clear. Only Labour can deliver for the future of Britain, only Labour can repair the damage the coalition of chaos has caused upon our nation, only Labour can put people over profit and send a clear message of our values. This election, no matter where you live in the nation, vote for Labour or a Labour endorsed candidate, vote for the people you know will truly represent you and your interests, vote for the people who time and time again have shown that they will deliver once voted into Number 10. Together in solidarity, our movement can achieve anything. Together in solidarity, we can create a better world. Together in solidarity, we can fight for our rights and our freedoms and send the message to put Salami in Number 10. Britain deserves better, Scotland deserves better, Lanackshire and the Borders deserves better, together we can create a brighter future! This election, vote for your voice in Westminster, vote Youma for Lanarkshire and the Borders!”

The crowd reaches to a standing ovation, and the chanting begins as expected. The attempts by the Tories and Libertarians to quash the spirit of the people had failed, and the volunteers and organisers were energised and ready to complete the mission. Labour’s movement across the nation could be felt in Lanarkshire and the Borders, together they would be able to deliver a better Britain
