Maroiogog gives a speech in Cambridge in support of u/david_johansson.

“Hello Cambridge, allow me to introduce myself. I am Maroiogog, Labour candidate for Surrey, and I am here speaking to you today to support my good friend david during this wonderful campaign. He is a candidate who, like me, is convinced that this government has repeatedly let down the people of this country with policies that go against their interests and needs. Like me he stands by the message that we’re giving out this campaign that Britain Deserves Better!

The plan that the Labour party has set out is a step in the opposite direction from what the past government has done. In our manifesto we show clearly how the Labour Party is putting people and their needs ahead of tax cuts for the wealthy and budget surpluses. What the country really needs are public services which are able to perform their duties to the best standards, delivering on the expectations of the people. What the budget and the manifestos we are seeing from the blurple coalition partners show is that they prefer to do things on the cheap rather than do them like they should. The number of underfunded departments in the budget is staggering, the number of underfunded projects even more so. This government believes that £300m is an acceptable sum to set aside to improve the quantity of energy generated with renewables. The country clearly expects the state to take a tough stance on climate change, but the blurples clearly cannot be trusted to deliver on that. And I could go on, the amount given to railway electrification can only cover 50 miles of track and so on, their incompetence reaches dangerous levels, and as such we cannot allow it to continue. This week the country will be called to express an opinion, whether it wants to continue on this path of reduction in provision of services and reduction of democratic representation of young people and workers or if it wants an alternative which has the potential to take real action to tackle the issues that threaten our country, such as poverty and climate change.
