"Ladies and gentlemen, I stand here before you today to reiterate that the Alliance Party, as part of the Liberal Democrats, are the best party to lead our nation. Why, you might ask?

We believe that the UK will be a stronger nation within the European Union and Single Market. We also want you, the people, to have the chance to vote on the final Brexit deal. Why should you not get a chance to decide the fate of your country? Brexit has the potential to be disastrous for Northern Ireland and we at the Alliance feel as though our policies will help keep Northern Ireland's economy stable and secure after Brexit.

Our well thought out economic plans perfectly compliment our wide ranging social policy. We are cooperative, and in Parliament we do our best to ensure we have as big a role as possible.

In the NI Executive, I myself as dFM have been a driving force behind a stable executive. I have often been the mediator between parties of all denominations.

I am here to launch my campaign to become a Member of Parliament representing Northern Ireland. If elected. I will represent all communities, and will not be a slave to the party whip. I will stand up for the wishes of Northern Ireland, for better or for worse.
