Troels Launches Campaign In Shropshire & Staffordshire
Troels arrives at The Quarry in Shrewsbury in the constituency of Shropshire & Staffordshire in a campaign bus with a big Conservative logo on its side.
A fairly large crowd of conservatives and quite a few former UKIP supporters have shown up for Troels’ speech. Free balloons with the Conservative Party logo are being handed out to the crowd. The crowd starts cheering as the bus doors open and Troels steps out of the bus whilst waving to the gathered supporters.
Troels reaches the stage which has been set up with the Conservative Party logo behind him and a British flag on either side of the podium behind him. The national anthem is played and Troels is seen singing along in what is later reported as “a not perfect singing voice”.
“Thank you ladies and gentlemen. I am glad to see so many supporters here today! Today is the day that I announce my official candidacy on behalf of the Conservative Party for the constituency of Shropshire and Staffordshire.”
Crowd cheers.
"It is a pleasure to stand for election on behalf of a great party such as the Conservative Party who have led a government with great competence alongside my former party UKIP. We always worked well together with the Tories, and this made it an easy choice for me in particular to join them. Together we will fight for the best election this country has yet to see!"
Crowd cheers.
"I myself take pride in one particular piece of legislative work during the last term. On my recommendation Her Majesty the Queen signed the Order In Council which ensured the equal rights of intersex individuals in our country by allowing them to choose a letter that might better describe them on their passport. People who are biologically speaking neither male, nor female, should not be restricted to choosing between the two."
"And this town knows a lot about biology. This was the birthplace of one of the greatest scientists in the field of biology in British history, Charles Darwin. He was the forefather to the modern theories of evolution, natural selection and the development of humans, or homo sapiens. This is valuable knowledge, which we must pass down to our descendants so that they, just like us, may draw from the experiences of the past when creating their own future."
Crowd applauds.
"The forging of this future, however, has already begun. We stand at the beginning of a new time, where the United Kingdom will have to forge its own path in the world. Brexit negotiations are slowly taking off, and soon we will have to negotiate every small comma in an agreement that has a tremendous impact on the life of everyday Britons. If this isn't done right it might negatively impact future generations and I do not want that to happen, and neither does my party. These negotiations must be lead by the most competent people, and I believe those people include our former Brexit Secretary, Dominion; our current Brexit Secretary, James; and our PM; and plenty of other cabinet members from this government whom I trust very greatly. Together we will forge the best future for the UK!"
Crowd cheers.
"Personally I have been an MP twice before, and currently I am a Working Peer in the House of Lords. I have always kept a near-perfect voting turnout, and I have held several cabinet and shadow cabinet positions. I have assisted in writing several pieces of legislation, and I have been the main author of some as well, especially the Public Parliament Tax Affairs Act of last year. This act ensured that Britons can trust their local MPs to an even higher degree and that transparency in parliament was increased. The elected officials in this country must be trustworthy, and I strive to be just that. Transparent and trustworthy."
Crowd cheers.
"I believe that in the upcoming term the broad right, which now stands firmly united under the blue banners of the Conservative Party is the best choice for the United Kingdom. In the next term I hope to see another government with my party at the helm. We will not let you down!"
Crowd starts shouting: MAJORITY, MAJORITY, MAJORITY.
"I hope that we will gain as many seats as anyone else here today, and the first step on the way to that is voting for the Conservative Party on the 7th of September! Let's ensure that our country doesn't see another government from the inactive and poorly organised left wing which seeks to obstruct all sensible policies. The more seats we have, the easier it is to fight their obstructionism."
Crowd cheers.
"Thank you for showing your support today. Have a great election, and remember to vote!"
Troels walks off to the music of Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' and loud applause and cheering.
Troels then talked to several of the supporters that had shown up while enjoying some good ribs from the food stand.
