Best weapon to use for someone with an RSI (like) injury

Hello fellow Hunters,

I recently started aying this amazing game. I’m playing with the Dual Blades, which I like very much. However, the DB require a lot of button spamming (well, at least with how I play them 😂). This can cause my old RSI like injuries in my elbows to play up.

So, I would like to start playing with a weapon that does not require mashing (or holding) the buttons as much as the DB. What would be the best weapons for this situation? I would say the Great Sword… but yeah, its Monster Hunter. This game has so many features that I don’t know about that I wanted to be certain.
