Max comfort raw bow or LBG build for someone new to ranged weapons?

I main CB and SnS, and want to give ranged weapons a try. With Sunbreak only a few days away, I don't want to invest too much time in building sets to play around with.
Can someone recommend a comfortable raw-damage LBG or bow build that is reasonably competitive? Doesn't have to be meta. I'll use the same build to try out the weapon in both single-player and multiplayer, and both Dragonheart and non-Dragonheart sets are fine.
My focus is on minimal "extra" work, such as restocking at camp.
