I’ve done most of the quests currently by Rise and was thinking about trying out the long sword. Never got the hang of it in GU or World and have gone through Rise with mainly dual blades ‏‏‎ and gunlance (some post Valstrax GS fun as well) but LS looks great fun in any videos I’ve seen. Do you mostly use the spirit combo for damage or do you use the normal attacks often? And as far as skills, obviously quick sheathe 3 is critical but are there other important skills I shouldn’t leave out? Ive got a few QS charms, some with wirebug whisper or evade extender, are either of these a big help or do I want QS and any 2 slots instead? Any other tips to not suck as much with the weapon or is it just about learning the counter timings?
