TO
repeal the Educational and Testing Act 2016
BE IT ENACTED by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: –
Section 1: Repeal
(1) The Educational and Testing Act 2016 shall be is repealed
Section 2: Extent, commencement and short title
(1) This bill extends to England.
(2) This bill commences one year after Royal Assent.
(1) This Act extends to England and Wales.
(2) This Act comes into force at the expiry of the period of one year beginning with Royal Assent.
(3) This Act may be cited as the Education and Testing (Repeal) Act 2018.
This bill was written by the Minister of State for Schools, the Hon /u/FirstComrade17 MP, and sponsored by the Secretary of State for Education, the Rt Hon Sir real-friends MP KBE. This bill was submitted on behalf of the 16th Government.
