Change Section 2 (2)

Section 1 does not apply to software to which sections 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the Official Secrets Act 1989 applies until the expiry of the period of 10 years beginning with the day the software is written, created or produced.

Section 1 does not apply to software to which sections 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the Official Secrets Act 1989 applies until the expiry of the period of 40 years beginning with the day the software is written, created or produced.

This amendment was submitted by the Rt. Hon. Countess of Brighton CT PC.
