LM051 - Joint Minister's Questions Motion

This House recognises:

1) The importance of all government ministers being regularly held to account

2) The importance of members of the House of Commons being able to question Ministers who are not a member

3) The importance of members of the House of Lords being able to question Ministers who are not a peer.

4) The communicative benefits of members of both houses being able to meet regularly in official business.

This House therefore requests and urges:

1) That Members of the House of Commons, House of Lords, and Privy Council, meet regularly in Westminster Hall to question Ministers of the Crown in Joint Session.

This motion was submitted by His Grace the Duke of Belfast as a Private Member's Motion.
