Diolch! Welcome, everybody!

Thank you for coming to this great place in Prestatyn to hear what I have to say. Earlier today I was asked by the Leader of the Conservative Party, u/Chi0121, to become his successor here in Wales and I happily took that opportunity. For the last two months, I have served as the Leader of the Scottish Conservatives and I have held that position with great joy, but my love for Wales will never die and thus I decided to take up this position once more.

The last time I was here as Leader of the Welsh Conservatives was my tenure as First Minister of Wales, over a year ago and it’s our goal to achieve this once more. I want to thank u/Chi0121 for his great tenure as Leader of the Welsh Conservatives, for the energy and power that he brought to Wales. It’s my goal to make sure that the Conservative message is heard loud and clear all around Wales, a message of hope and a message of respect.

I want to present my team for Wales over the next couple of days and our way forward, but for now, I want to thank you all for coming and see you soon.
