The Duke of Norfolk announces his intention to become the Conservative Party leader outside Arundel Castle
Post Body

After hearing the news of Nub's resignation, Britboy3456 called the press to a small conference outside Arundel Castle.

Good afternoon everyone. I was saddened this morning to hear that Nub has formally resigned his leadership of the Conservative and Unionist Party. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. However, you all know about this resignation already, and it is of course not the reason I have gathered you here today.

I, britboy3456, the Duke of Norfolk, would like to officially announce my candidacy to become the next leader of the Conservatives. As an experienced leader of multiple prior parties, and at one stage the longest running party leader on MHOC, I tend to believe I know my stuff when it comes to running parties! I have been the Chief Whip of the Tories for a few months now, which has given me a great opportunity to both get to know the inner workings of party leadership, and get to know many of our party's members I may not otherwise have known so well.

I am greatly looking forward to this leadership contest, Chi and Seph will both prove excellent rivals I am sure, so may the best man win! My manifesto will be released in the coming days for further information and perusal.

God save the Queen!

~Britboy3456, Duke of Norfolk
