This week The Post received results from polls done in six constituencies across the country. Overall, these polls show a strong performance by the LPUK and Solidarity across the country, while the Conservatives seem to grow in places, the rest of the parties seem to do less good in these constituencies. This all seems in line with last weeks’ national polling, where the LPUK and Solidarity steadily grew, with Labour falling down hard.

Lothian and Fife

Polling in Lothian and Fife

Lothian and Fife was the battleground between the Liberal Democrats and Solidarity during the last General Election, with the Liberal Democrats winning over 60% of the votes. They still lead the polls in Lothian and Fife, but with a slimmer margin than before, 27.74% for the Liberal Democrats, while Solidarity has 27.09% in these polls. The rest of the parties are far behind these two parties, the Libertarians are in third place with just 13.35%. If things continue this way we might see a tough election in the constituency of the current Liberal Democrat Leader, u/a1fie355.

Merseyside

Polling in Merseyside

Merseyside became the battleground between Labour and the LPUK two elections ago, both parties were going neck and neck in the polls but the LPUK won the last General Election in Merseyside. In the current polls this trend seems to continue, with the LPUK polling at 25.29% while Labour is a bit further behind on 24.18%. The gap between the two parties seems to increase every election a bit, with a strong LPUK like we’ve seen in the last couple of weeks they are looking to increase their majority in Merseyside even more. The fight for third place in Merseyside seems to be going between Solidarity and the Conservatives, with Solidarity winning, but the margins are tight in this constituency.

West Yorkshire

Polling in West Yorkshire

A tight race between the Conservatives and the LPUK was the big event in West Yorkshire during the last General Election, with the PWP surprisingly becoming third. Now the roles seem to have switched in West Yorkshire, with the Conservatives polling in first place with 25.35% and the LPUK with 24.90% in second place, but the margins are still very small. The bigger surprise of this week in West Yorkshire is Solidarity overtaking the PWP. The PWP became third in the last General Election, but don’t succeed to stop the increase of Solidarity in this part of Yorkshire.

Northamptonshire and Rutland

Polling in Northamptonshire and Rutland

Northamptonshire and Rutland saw a Coalition! win in the last General election, just defeating the Conservatives, but the roles seem to have switched in a months’ time. The Conservatives comfortably lead these polls, with 24.26% of the people saying they are going to vote for the Tories in the next GE, while 17.32% say they will vote for Coalition! Between those two parties comes Solidarity with 22.50%, they are looking to be the next challengers of the Conservatives in Northamptonshire and Rutland. Or could the former Prime Minister, u/leafy_emerald, pull of another trick and win Northamptonshire and Rutland once again.

Southwest London

Polling for Southwest London

Southwest London was the ground of tough battle between Coalition! and the Conservatives, where former Home Secretary and Conservative Deputy Leader, u/TomBarnaby, defeated his former party. The current polls indicate that the Conservatives have a lead over Coalition! in Southwest London, but it’s not a very comfortable margin, considering the endorsements of the parties in the last General Election. Solidarity seems to be closing in on these two parties, could they threaten this Conservative-Coalition! battleground?

Gloucestershire and Wiltshire

Polling for Gloucestershire and Wiltshire

Once a Liberal Democrat safe haven has become a safe LPUK seat, where they got more than 50% of the votes in the last General Election. The LPUK have 40.02% of the people in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire have indicated they would vote for the Libertarians once again, more than double the amount that want to vote on Solidarity, who are in second place. Other parties will face a tough battle if they want to come close to a win in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire and defeat the LPUK.
