BBC Cymru Wales asked 1001 Electors the following question on 26th February 2020:
At the next National Assembly of Wales General Election, which party will you vote for with your list vote?
The polling has a 3% margin of error.
Welsh Conservatives: 37.17% ( 0.46%)
Welsh Labour: 28.54% ( 4.90%)
Plaid Cymru: 18.64% (-0.72%)
Libertarian Party Cymru: 7.46% (-2.12%)
Loyalist League: 4.35% ( 0.18%)
Welsh Liberal Democrats: 3.83% (-2.70%)
Explanations
*Absolutely insane activity in Senedd this fortnight, only 20 comments off Holyrood, who had a well above average week themselves.
Sustained great activity from Labour, big spread of active members was key to their huge gain.
For Conservatives, good activity, had an above average week in which they'd ordinarily have gained more, but such was the surge throughout Senedd that the growth was stunted somewhat.
Plaid had an average week, but were once again hit by Labours gain. Need more varied activity in Senedd if they are to claw back recent losses.
LPUK had an average week, but the Senedd activity surge damaged them. Main advice, needs a better spread of active members.
Poor week for LL and Lib Dems, little or no activity from either. LL gain likely MoE.*
For all parties, the low amount of submitted legislation is something that should be looked at addressing, as its an easy way to earn mods.
