A poll for BBC Scotland asked 1001 Electors the following question on the 12th February 2020.
At the next Scottish Parliament General Election, which party will you vote for on the regional list?
The polling has a 3% margin of error.
Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party: 47.26% ( 1.13%)
Scottish National Party: 21.72% (-2.97%)
Scottish Labour: 18.94% ( 0.40%)
Scottish Libertarians: 6.82% (-0.19%)
Scottish Liberal Democrats: 2.93% ( 0.03%)
Loyalist League: 2.33% ( 1.66%)
Explanations
Incredible activity from Conservatives, unlike in Wales, not only have they survived the merger but also thrived off it.
SNP are struggling with low activity. A big improvement is needed if they are to recover.
Very good from both Labour and the Loyalist League. Based on current activity, Labour are the only party putting it up to the Tories. LL benefitting from being essentially a new party.
Libertarians and Lib Dems with low activity over the last fortnight, statistically insignificant changes for both.
All parties should look at submitting more legislation, it's a surefire way to get your numbers up and also keep the Parliament going.
