BBC Cymru Wales asked 1001 Electors the following question on 12th February 2020:
At the next National Assembly of Wales General Election, which party will you vote for with your list vote?
The polling has a 3% margin of error.
Welsh Conservatives: 36.71% (-3.85%)
Welsh Labour: 23.64% ( 6.20%)
Plaid Cymru: 19.36% (-1.14%)
Libertarian Party Cymru: 9.58% (-1.42%)
Welsh Liberal Democrats: 6.53% (-1.46%)
Loyalist League: 4.18% ( 1.67%)
Explanations
Great activity from Labour, big spread of active members was key to their huge gain.
For Conservatives, a natural climbdown from the merger. Fall is down to a lack of active members in the Assembly.
Plaid had an average week, but were hit by Labours gain. Need more activity in the Assembly going forward if they are to stem these losses.
LL doing well, following on from good gains last week also.
Poor week for LPUK and Lib Dems, little or no activity from either.
For all parties, the low amount of submitted legislation is something that should be looked at addressing.
