A LucidTalk poll for the Belfast Newsletter asked 1001 Electors the following question on the 16th September 2018.

At the next Northern Ireland Assembly General Election, which party will you vote for with your first preference vote?

All changes are with the polling conducted on the 16th August 2018 and the polling has a 3% margin of error.

Ulster Unionist Party (UUP): 55.0% ( 4.9%)

Alliance Party of Northern Ireland: 13.4% ( 0.8%)

Fianna Fail: 11.7% (-4.2%)

Democratic Unionist Party (DUP): 8.6% (-1.4%)

Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP): 7.7% (-3.6%)

Green Party in Northern Ireland: 3.5% (new entry)
