TheNewTeddy has announced their intention to stand for first Minister of Northern Ireland. Their party, Alliance, has increased their polling percentage by almost 3% since the General Election^1, yet where does this newly found confidence come from? Teddy has been an MLA since Mr. Rolo took office as Speaker of the House of Commons, and since Teddy has taken up the Mantle, no Alliance legislation has been proposed to the assembly^2, and while the rookie MLA has very good turnout, they have yet to hold a single executive position^3.

This is a tumultuous time for the Assembly, with the near collapse we are in need for experienced leaders. It is unlikely that Mr.Teddy will win the election, with incumbent First Minister, SPQR1776, who has been instrumental in the modern history of the assembly.

All of this, however, should not completely dissuade Mr. Teddy. They have extremely large, indigo colored, shoes to fill, yet his party is still a major player in Stormont. This means that Mr. Teddy will need to show the public, and his fellow assembly members that they have what it takes to lead.
