Introduction

Progress is a new party dedicated to stepping up where others have fallen short – for prosperity, genuine liberty and progress; either through incompetence, or conflicting goals altogether, we have seen the established parties repeatedly fail to meet these ends.

We passionately defend liberty in it’s truest sense - not simply an absence of government, but an intimate, individual ability to pursue our dreams, and to forge our own destiny in the world, and we will fight tooth and nail to ensure that the policy made in Parliament holds true to these ideals.

We stand for an entrepreneurial spirit, guiding us towards prosperity and economic freedom to the maximum extent; a free market is not the same as an unregulated market, and by acting to keep markets free we can establish an economic blueprint that will truly unleash the great spirit and potential of our country.

Economics and politics are inseparable; to neglect the nuance of economic organisation is a reckless misunderstanding that will lead to ill-thought, unnecessary hardship, and to ignore the fundamental role that economics has in social organisation is to misdiagnose the complex web of human existence - as a party, we propose a comprehensive political platform, addressing hardship and deprivation in all spheres of life, and therefore a bid to reshape politics in a more authentic fashion - we stand for liberty in every sense of the word.

We maintain that electoral politics is the most effective, just way of achieving this ends, and therefore we intend to stand candidates in the upcoming General Election, allowing people the opportunity to cast their ballot for a party that truly has their best interests at heart.

While an organisational structure is yet to be decided, Progress is working effectively together in order to set strong foundations for the party.
