Formerly of the Labour Party, moving later to the Progressive Democrats, the member in question has today formally applied, and received acceptance to, the Conservative and Unionist Party, after much courting; his economic and social policies are suited to his destination and has been enthusiastically welcomed in what should be described as the final phase of his transition from early conceptual thought to a clear and developed political ideology that is intrinsic to the values held by the center-right.
There is certainly a literal deficit for economic philosophers in the Model House of Commons, as we find ourselves deliberating over domestic and foreign affairs, though I catagorise theDesertFox929 as among the few specialising in the minority field, of which, our numbers have continued to dwindle with the exit of Remiel only in the near past. This decision has clearly added to the intellectual foundry the Tory Party has able to utilise in relation to the the ability to promote economically competent governance.
The Party again welcomes the member absolutely, and, whilst we are doubtless of our ability to return to Governance after the General Election, a recruit of this caliber will enable the Party to gain a much larger percentage of the former Labour vote who shall no longer feel obliged to vote red Tory.
