We have seen a massive change in the electoral landscape last night after the results of the general election came in, the United Kingdom have decided to make a real change and for that I applaud them. Before I go further, I want to congratulate the Liberal Democrats with their big electoral victory, they campaigned hard and we can all see that the British Alternative endorsement paid off for them. I am looking forward to continue working with them to improve the country.

British Alternative produced a real and new vision for the country, the people of Kent and of the South East were able to vote for this alternative and they did so in thousands. So we want to thank all of the 219,223 people who have voted for myself in Kent and also the 147,645 people who have voted for the British Alternative on the list seat in the South East. All of these people have made the decision to support the change that is necessary to create a better United Kingdom.

I want to thank my campaigners, all of those people who have spend a lot of time to ensured that people heard of this new party that was only established weeks before the General Election. Without their hard work we could not have done what we have done now, especially almost winning the constituency of Kent.

The days after the election are notably used to create a new government and I can say that up to this moment we as British Alternative have not been invited by any of the other parties to talk with them to create such a new government. While we have one seat in the new make-up of the House of Commons, we are still one of the two parties winning seats in this election. This only further shows that the current parties do not feel the urgency that we are feeling right now. The people of Kent and the South East have shown us that we should not be left out and pushed aside.

The decision of the other parties to exclude the British Alternative only shows why it is important that we exist and that we combat the current political system and we will do just that in the next term. As an opposition party we will hold the Government to account, we will put forward our own bills and motion, making sure that the people who believe in a right-wing party are going to be heard in Parliament.

During the election campaign we have seen that British Alternative has the real answers for the problems of the United Kingdom and that we’re one of the few that didn’t shy away from being held to account during the Leaders Debate that was a key part of the election campaign. We have seen a weakened Conservative Party, with an Acting Leader who was able to throw mud but not able to face the consequences for doing so.

The people of the United Kingdom saw again that the British Alternative is the only right-wing party that can be trusted and have a real vision ready to go. We will produce legislation that will denationalise the economy, we will produce legislation that will create more freedom in our country, we will produce legislation that will put sensible foreign policy at the forefront again, and we will produce legislation that will make life easier for businesses and individuals across our great country. The United Kingdom will be on the rise again, we will be a force to be reckoned with again, our country will be greater and better than it was. We will present this British Alternative to the people of this great nation.
