For far too long politicians believed that it was better for them to make decisions about the lives of ordinary people than for them to make these decisions themselves. For too long politicians took away people’s freedom, the freedom of choice in education or in healthcare. The leftist parties, Solidarity and Labour, have put in place socialist policies that hinder people’s lives, increase bureaucracy and increase the nanny state. These overly totalitarian policies hurt people across the United Kingdom and thus they need to be abolished and repealed.

Britain needs an alternative to the choices of these leftist parties, a real choice for freedom instead of parties propping up socialist views. British Alternative is that choice, we present a real alternative for right-wing libertarian people, a choice for how it was before we had these messy leftist governments.

We have five main priorities for the coming term, to make a real change in the next term:

1. Lower tax rates. This means lowering income taxation, lower inheritance tax and put more money in the pockets of the ordinary hard-working British people.
2. Cut unnecessary spending. We stop with our spending on international aid, we need to abolish basic income, we need to cut back on spending on culture.
3. More freedom in healthcare and education. This means abolish the NHS, more privatised healthcare possibilities and less restrictions on substance use, let people make their own health choices.
4. A Safer Britain. Reiterate the focus on crime prevention, tougher rules on immigration and tougher sentencing.
5. Less government infiltration. Let the markets make their own choice regarding housing, environment, the digital area and all other areas where the government is telling people what to do. This means cutting rules in these areas.

These five main priorities are the things that British Alternative will fight for during the next election, because the U.K. has a real choice, a choice between the leftist parties, a ‘conservative’ party that will prop up the leftist parties, or a real British Alternative for the ordinary hard-working people of the United Kingdom.
