Good evening everyone,

Some of you may have noticed a lull in my activity in MHoC. This is due to several real life factors, some of which I will retain private and some of which concern my education. I am about to write a major paper which accounts for a pretty sizeable portion of my final grade this year. This obviously means that it will take priority in my life for the two weeks I have to write it, however, I have already begun my initial research (and stress). If anyone is curious, I'm writing about The Kanslergade Agreement (da: Kanslergadeforliget).

For this reason, and since I am not confident I can continue to do my job here for the main part of December, I have decided to take a break by invoking Article 4.VII of our Constitution and appoint an Acting Lord Speaker. This has been known by the speakership and the rest of the Quad for a while now.

/u/comped will therefore take over my official duties as Acting Lord Speaker while I am away from midnight tonight and until (and including) the 21st of December. At this point I will return stronger than ever!

I look forward to my break (except for the whole paper writing business). I will likely check in a few times during the break to make sure everything is not burning to the ground, but other than that you won't see much of me.
