Good morning everyone,

This was not something I had hoped or prepared myself for in my capacity as Head Moderator, and the events of the past few hours have greatly dismayed me. It is too late in the day for me to handle all of this currently, so once I am slightly unburdened from college with the christmas holidays I will then look over documents submitted to me this evening to decide on whether the VoNCs shall be permitted under the constitution. If permitted, I will then announce a timetable for the VoNCs to take place and for all evidence to be presented to the community, with both the Speaker and Lords Speaker being given ample time to prepare themselves.

In the meantime, the speakership chat has been removed of anyone but the Triumvirate and advisors, but otherwise it is operationally unchanged. Until either the Speaker or Lords Speaker are successfully VoNCed, neither of them will be removed or in any way demoted from their positions.

I also want to add that while these screenshots are obviously now public, I want the Speakers and Lords Speaker to be able to formally refute what has been said if they wish, regardless of whether there is a VoNC. I am making this statement to ensure that there isn’t a vacuum of information over this, and that I am going to as swiftly as possible get this over and done with. In the run up to the festive period, which will be quite busy with awards and other such things going on, we need few other distractions. I would like to ask everyone to avoid speculation, asking questions will have a time later on, rest assured.
